Slow down and dive a little. A blog about cave diving in Mexico.
Tulum, Meixco sunset. Unbelievable.

20 Days and no posts…

I am sorry that I haven't posted anything in 20 days.  I have been very busy with work and dive related activities.  In the last 20 days I completed the following: took a cave survey class with Steve Bogaerts, played safety diver in Bacalar for a free diving contest, dove at Temple of Doom, Nohoch Na Chich main entrance, dove at Grand Cenote Down Stream, found the Blue Abyss, dove at Xtabay, shot some cavern silohuets at Chac Mool, did some live survey work at the Pit and trained for and played in my first ever soccer tournament!  To say the least it has been busy.

So all this activity has created a bunch of material for Quiet Diver.  I will do my best to get it out there for you.

Nice site… Just finished my meg training. I live in Naples, FL and suposed to hit the Temple of Doom in October. I need two meg pictures for my site and they not to be shared. I may create a blog and calendar site for meg divers in florida. I am sending my meg out to get a nice candy apple red finish with tanks to match my dive plates.

Thanks!

Dave

Dave, Thanks for checking in and reading. Congratulations on completing your training, rebreather diving rocks. Patrick and I have been diving our Megs all week. On Wednesday we went to the Pit in Dos Ojos and he did a 301ffw dive to the Wakulla room. I dove support for him. On Thursday we did the traverse from Naharon to Mayan Blue and back. He was on a Kiss and I was on the Meg. And tomorrow we are going to the pit for another big dive. This time he is going to attempt the BMP Passage which should net out to 352ffw. I will dive support again.

In any event, if you need any photos please email me at hans@quietdiver.com and we can discuss you using them. I think we can work something out.

Good luck with the red finish, I bet it is gonna look super trick!

Thanks,
Hans
